New to this site but not new to Nissans. I have an issue with my left bank not combusting and I have been sent into the rabbit warren ever since.
Long story short I ended up replacing my ECU with a used ECU as a possible fix and ran into the Nats issue with these cars. I discovered you can transfer the Nats 8pin (93C65A) iC from your existing ECU to the replacement ECU. Reps to L1 Training for the info on how to do it. If you are good at soldering and using SMD soldering station then its a matter of removing the original chip and soldering it onto the replacement board. This way it carries all the security info onto replacement board and no need to have keys etc re programmed to match the ECU.
This is at you own risk and of course if its not for you, best not attempt. This is just an option that costs very little $
