I recently bought a dw200 for my vq35de and while trying to install the whole fuel assembly back into the tank, it seemed to stick out just barely by ~1/2cm. I tried forcing it down a bit but still nothing. After about an hour or so of repeatedly taking it out, draining the fuel, looking at online diagrams, and trying to shuffle the feed line that's in the tank, I accidently put pressure on the little plastic fuel tube at the top of the assembly and broke it. So before I go and buy one of those drive motive fuel assemblies, I was wondering if anyone on here has had the same issue or has successfully installed a dw200 in one of those assemblies. Why was my original assembly sticking out? Keeping in mind I bought the car built so i'm also wondering if that really was the oem assembly.
