Default 08 AT oil change.

So I’ve been reading. Seem like by draining and filling only half of the atf fluid gets replaced. To do it all it requires some machine.
I also found info that AT it’s filled for life.
So to clarify I’m leaning towards Nissan MaticJ. But. Should I do it at all. Or do it myself. Or let shop do it?
Car has 52k miles. Fluid looks reddish. Fairly clean. No issues. Just want to keep it healthy. I’ve done ATF in other cars before.
Thanks.
