Default Chocking after gas refill

Hello, I have a 2004 350Z with close to 160K miles, car runs good but what is happening lately is after gas fill up car runs for 1/2 a mile then starts chocking, engine light starts blinking then I have to stop the car turn off /on the engine check engine light goes off and the car keeps running well, happened already 2 to 3 times, any idea what is this happening?
Thank You!

Scan and read codes. Could be as simple as an evap error. 80% remedy: New gas cap. But don't presume, read codes first.

Take it to an auto parts store and ask them to scan the codes with an OBD reader. Even if the light isn't on, the code will be stored if it's a severe enough malfunction.
