Talking Troubleshooting begins!

Finally have time to begin troubleshooting my car after a head gasket replacement.
2006 AT touring Non rev up ofc
214k miles.
Ran perfect prior to rebuild but started getting hot and showed exhaust gas in coolant.

symptoms
sometimes it starts
idles real rough shakes and shuts off
stays on longer if gas is slightly held
shuts of if put in drive
smells of gas.
cant get any codes.
CES light
AT check light
gear display flickers between N and P while on.

during the rebuild I replaced every gasket I could get to, lapped valves replaced chains and sprockets. all new spark plugs, and all hoses.
I have not done compression test yet but am hoping to try the easy stuff first. I'm just here to hear out any and all ideas/suggestions.

ideas so far. yet to test/look into
Bad coil/plug causing misfire and bogging down the cylinder.
bad fuel has been in it for 4 months.
I goofed up a harness somewhere.
ECU is bad
Vacuum leak
Jumped timing not sure if that can happen with these cars.

Time for the headache to begin lets goo!!!

check them battery terminals and your grounds. Look over everything hoses, wiring harness to make sure everything is plugged in right (cam, crank, TB plugs) make sure you didnt mix match the coil plugs. Do the easy stuff first and go from there
