Loss of Power…please help!
Hello gang…
new here, please be patient for my lack of knowledge. TSC light comes on along with slip, loss of power occurs and thermostat begins to fall rapidly as if the motor was cold.
turned off vehicle for maybe 1 minute & 30 seconds, regained power to drive, but within 3min loss of power all of those lights and behaviour starts again…
anything helps thank You

1. Have you changed out your tires/wheels to something other than stock. Zs with VDC or TCS MUST have tires diameters in the same ratio F/R as stock; that is minimum 2% difference (front shorter), sweet spot 3% +/- 0.25% delta. Having tires/wheels outside of this delta range can trigger TCS or VDC due to the car believing that one end or the other is spinning out; causing car to go into limp mode (which is what you described).
2. Have you/have you had DTC (codes) pulled? Could be CPS - (DTC P0340) cam position sensor or CPS-2 - crank position sensor (DTC P0335). Very common issue that results in exactly what you described. Word of advice: when replacing either, just figure on doing all three simultaneously - two cam position sensors and one crank position sensor. And, use ONLY OEM Nissan or OEM-equivalent Hitachi sensors. No-name brands (however much cheaper) tend to fail more often and/or do not fix the problem.Get what you pay for. If other codes appear post them here.
