B&M Short Shifter out soon..YEAH!
Just got off the phone with Ron in Tech support & B&M.
He checked with their engineers and they said that B&M would have their Short Throw Shifter at their distributors in approx. 5 weeks time.
Part #45163
Here's B&M's phone number in case anyone wants to keep up with the ETA.
1-818-882-6422
I asked him if he heard about Rogue's first try at it and the fact that they distributed a defective first gen shifter. He said he hadn't, but after explaining what happened, he said that certainly wouldn't be the case with theirs.
Finally a good shifter with a great reputation.

Some people live in a gray world.
All I was doing was giving people a heads-up on another alternative to a short throw shifter, as up until now we had no choice, and we all saw what happens when only one company has a part that you want.

Not because I have the Rogue but I think its a little unfair towards Ben at Rogue speaking badly about his shifter because of some probs people had. They were offered a fix and now the new one works great.
Still, competition is always good and will help to bring prices down.
I however have been enjoying my short shifter for some time and would not like to go back or have to stay with it if I still had it.
Im young, i have no patience.

You guys may want to be a little wary of the B&M shifters. Nothing against them. They have a great rep. But on my old forum B15sentra.net Thos guys had a REAL bad time with them. I'd say 40% of the people who bought them either returned them because poor fitment or they had them break on them. Most of them broke under load. I know at least two people personally who had them break at the track. And these guys weren't Arnold.

Good job!!! Nice thread.. I will wait to see price, look, and other people's experiances.. Thanx for the heads up. Dont worry about the bias idiots on the forum. Looks like they just want to start crap and ruin a potential good thread.

Back to topic...as soon as they hit the distributors I'll be grabbing one and will be certain to post a review. I hope these hold up better than the others did.
