Default Guaging interest on the RS*R DUAL SOUND

Hello all,

I would like to guage the interest on who would be interested in the DUAL SOUND exhaust from RS*R. The final MSRP has not been determined, however it will be in between $1700-$2000.

This will be a dual, polished stainless steel exhaust!

If you are intersted, please post here!

I remember seeing pics if the DS exhuast. It looks awesome. I've never seen exhaust tips that look like that.

Some images from last August i took at D1--

i believe this is a full exhaust from Ypipe down. I've heard this exhaust in person on the drift Z and it sounds great- (a little different than the GT2 Mag) but in its own exotic way.

bring it to the USA Koji!!

Glad I didn't wait on this... like I had originally planned.

That's a rediculous price.

Indeed a VERY ridiculous price. It better add 25hp minimum, and make my breakfast for that price.

Default i'd take one

I'd be interested if the price is right. Seems a lil steep. For that price I can buy a titanium exhaust. But if it shows gains, im the sure the price will be justified.

O yea, those tips are hideous. How about some regular cans on the back. What the hell are those holes around the tips? lol

Instead of comments... could you explain to us why this exhaust is that expensive?

Is there THAT much in R&D cost??? Is that THAT spectacular a gain? Stainless steel does NOT weigh much if any less... so no advantage there.

Last time I spoke to your rep, there was a big problem with this exhaust hitting the evap canisters casing. Even then the price that was mentioned then was sub $1400.

Sounds fishy to me...

Yeah, that price is nuts. Of course, the HKS exhaust price is too. Don't know what either company is thinking, if they sell one, that is one too many.

That's interesting, as I was under the impression that RS*R was not following through with their plans for a dual Z33 exhaust. Where does it say that the RS*R dual exhaust is being reintroduced into the local market?

Thanks

The RS*R DS has been out for a while now in japan. In the explanation of their exhuast on their website, they actually admit that the 350z has problems realizing gains because of the ECU. They say that despite that fact, the exhuast still makes good gains. I wish we knew some people in Japan that have already dynoed this exhuast Just out of curiousity of course, because I sure as hell would not pay that price.
I have liked this exhuast since I first saw it a few months ago. Matter of fact I e-mailed RS*R about it and I never got a return e-mail. However, I would buy this exhaust provided it was fairly priced.
