Default Proper A/F ratio?

Ok guys and gals, I have read numerous threads baout people adding high flow cats, exhausts, intakes, etc. etc. etc... Seems like lot of people are worried about running lean and asking about A/F ratios.

I have now added high flow cats, Borla Dual exhaust, and an Injen intake. I have not dynoed after all the mobs, but I am curious if anyone thinks my A/F might be something to be concerned about.

I WILL Dyno when the weather gets a bit nicer.

Finally, can we all agree on what is a SAFE A/F range? It seems like everyone has a different opinion of the "optimal ratio", but nobody has actually posted a "safe" range...

Thanks for any info and replies...

its going to depend on where you measure, what gear you are in, and what rpm you measure at, but somewhere in the high 12 to low-mid 13 range (13.2,13.3) when measured at the tail pipe is a pretty good range

I hang an O2 Bung in my Kinetix cats. Immediately before the stock O2 sensor. Does that make any diference?

I'd jst like to know what to expect and what is "safe" when I do get to the Dyno again...

Here is my sheet with just the Injen intake and Borla exhaust. Everyone at the dyno shop says I'm running lean, but others on this forum have weighed in and said it's fine for NA.

thats wildly lean in the midrange thats for sure

03 Z for Me - yes it def matters where you put the sensor. Look for 02 valvues in and around the mid-low 13's, up to around 13.5 ish under WOT, particularly in the upper rev ranges. Don't take is as gospel mind you, but rather just a guide
