I replied to this in another post, but I think this is a better category for it.

For the first time I got the engine light lit up. I first checked the gas cap and its on tight, because last night I did fill up. But now I am wondering if it the oil change I got yesterday too? I got Mobile 1 synthetic. Any ideas or should I just take it in? I have 16,000 miles on my car.

 

My Service Engine Soon indicator just came on today (not blinking)... I have a little over 23k miles and this tank is below half way through (i filled up a couple days ago)...

Read the Manual and it says to check the fuel filler cap, which i did, and that it should turn off after a few driving trips...

We'll see...

 

yeah, i took it in and they have to replace some gas pedal sensor. Under warranty though :-)
