Don't know if somebody has posted this up before. The review has a sound clip of the ITB.

It's in the first paragraphs saying "CLICK!!!" , Highlight the area, should be easier to find.. Provided a link, might work.. not sure.

Also noticed that the intake manifold has little filters for each piston. This resulting in taking away the throttle boddy and entire intake..

Never seen that done before. I wonder if its possible to buy this? (Prolly expensive as hell)..

Yeah, it's around $2000 IIRC. I've seen these on several cars, most recently on an M3 LWT, which sounded absolutely bad-*** might I add.

Wow that sound is awesome! I would buy it just for that alone. Does anyone know what the ps rating is on that TK z?

You are correct in that the E46 M3 and the E39 M5 do have ITBs, but the M3 LWT I was referring to was only produced in 1995. It was a stripped down factory version of the E36 M3, and only ~80 were sent to the U.S., most of which are track cars.

according to TK's site.
Type-I is 5,000,000 yen ($45,889.79 USD)
Type-II is 7,480,000 yen ($68,651.12 USD)

the only difference between type I and type II is the individual throttle body and the ECU.....

so that would equate to 2,480,000 yen for the throttle body and ECU? which in today's exchange rate is $22,761.34 USD

yikes... and I thought FI were expensive....

I think "whatever" you're refering to the complete car with those mods right? I don't think you meant ITB's and just ECU alone will cost you 45 or 68K!?! That's crazy!

yup, whole car for 45k or 68k. But it still mean the ITB and ECU still cost ~22K...
