Quote."We actually offer Nissan Belts with the UR pulleys kits, and we replaced the 45 cm belt with a 44.09 cm belt, and haven't had a problem with them since"

Just an FYI, but the number in the main belt which is 45 is actually in inches, not cm's.. So when you go to a 44 instead of the 45, you are going 1" smaller, not 1 cm... The 45.25" belt that is recommended by Ur is actually 115 cm's and the belt that we find works perfect,(the 44" belt) is 112cm's... This is not to flame you it is just to get the correct info out since we have installed a bunch of these already....

Jason is right.......whoever wrote the instructions for the UR people messed up. If you convert both belt sizes that they give, only one of them is right. I forget exactly where, but the guy at the auto parts store picked up on this.......thanks Auto Zone!! Anyway, we determined that the 44.5, or he determined, that an error was made in the conversion from metric to standard measuements. When I tried to use the 45.5 in belt, my tensioner was at the end.......I was actually thinking about how to modify it to make it work......then I went to the store and luckily found someone who knew about UR pulleys and belt sizes. Good luck with your install. I ahve been without my car for a month.....in the body shop having lots of stuff done!!!! I should get it back this week.

how do you know if you over-tightened the belts? i think mine are too tight. im known for ever-tightening stuff. how would i know if the belts are too tight? what type of gauge should i get and where from?

im hearing a ticking noise coming from the pulley area. not a squeek. its getting annoying. any help? thanks.
