Went back to the Dyno on stock rims... I'm Happy now..
Well we all went back to the dyno.. if any of you read my last thread I was upset cause of the mods listed in my sig i only dyno'd 246hp and 235tq.
Well with the same mods MINUS the Injen exhaust ( i took it off cause i'm selling it, and yes it's sold already) and i also had my stock rims back on with new tires... Kumho Supra Ecsta 255/45/17's.
Dyno #'s proceeded to go to 253hp and 242tq. So i'm quit abit happier, i wish i coulda put my exhaust back on to dyno it with it cause i think i coulda broke 260 with the exhaust but oh well. Nismo exhaust here i come.
and if you read my last thread a bone stock track Z dyno'd with me and he dyno'd 241hp and 238tq.. Well this time he went back and since upgraded to Topspeed Pro N-1 Exhaust and JWT Pop-Charger.
His dyno #'s were 247hp and 242tq. He has about 1hp more than me through the entire band until about 5700 rpm's where his drops off and mine climbs... So the crawford is definetly evident in the higher hp's.. I'm still trying to buy his rims from him so we'll see what happens if i can get those on there and dyno it!!
Also went back out to the track aswell... Last Year with just the test pipes and Injen Exhaust i ran a 13.72 @ 100.6mph
We went back out yesterday and with pop charger, plenum, and test pipes i only ran a 13.71 @ 99.7 with a 1.903 60ft. My last run i ran a 2.08 60ft and ran a 13.905 @ 100.8mph
So i dunno what's going on with that

I'm not sure what correction factor they use.. All the pops up is the corrected #'s so i don't know what i dyno un-corrected.
i could probably go back and get it though
The crawford plenum is going up for sale real soon though too.

Also the track Z was out at the track.
The track was only open 1/8 mile for most the day cause of rain but my car was driven by a friend cause i had to work in the morning so he was racing it, and it made a pass in the track Z aswell.
Granted i was on ET Streets that are overkill for my car.. They are 26 x 11.5 x 16 so they are huge. A friend uses them on his GT76 powered Supra so yeah.
But here is teh comparison...
My 1/8 mile was 8.77 @ 79mph with a 1.90 60ft'
his 1/8 mile was 9.17 @ 76mph with a 2.10 60ft'
So i'm trapping higher even with HUGE slicks (pretty much) on the car.

I'm going to get the Kinetix
I want my engine cover back on and strut bar.
I like the crawford but the Kinetix appeals to me more.. Both are great products.

Sith is racing at 3000ft elevation which can effect NA performance alot
He is a good driver and will be quicker with smaller tires...those ET streets are HUGE
Lots of fun from a stop on the street though
The sea level guys should be much quicker with similar mods and 60's
If all goes as planned I should be purchasing an 05' Enthusiast for reference in Sept./Oct.
I'll run the same tires as sith so we can make more comparisons with mods vs. ET's and dyno figures
I want the power enterprise TT kit with forged internals
I have had enough of the "all motor" with my civic....its time for torque
