does the rev's (rpm's) stay up longer because of the lightweight flywheel or do the come down faster (in between shifting)?

I thought it was that is stayed higher longer because of the light weight but onefastdoc says they come down quicker....

I am confused, can someone shed some light?

 

The lighter weight allows the engine to rev quicker. RPMs will also drop quicker between shifts.
