lol i hope that you dont plan on doing much for 5k is your block and head reuseable? new pistons con rods and crank will run you a little over 2k and thats not installed. expect about 1500 for install. if you need tranny thats another 1500 for the part alone not including install. dont forget to put cams in while its apart thats 1000 and why not p and p the head while its off thats about 1200, do you see where this is going. id recommend budgeting closer to 10 k, and i have no idea how much a built tranny will cost.

Sorry tranny is just gunna be rebuilt to spec. Im not looking to push massive amounts of HP just more than normal for street drivivng. Maybe a few track visits.
And i was thinking 5 k for engine alone...but if you think 10 is more like it than thats fine...I just really wanted a supercharger also but whats the point of a S/c without and running engine.

you could probably get back to stock for about 6k for engine and tranny but expect 7500+ for built

Describe flood damage. If it was caused by an Act of God type of flood, the damage would be covered under your comprehensive coverage on your auto policy. If you sucked up water through your CAI, You're SOL.

I'm a claims adjuster for an auto insurance company. I deal with these type of things everyday.

i mean drove into a flood. Sucked water up...stalled...car stayed there. Its been professionally cleaned and everything no smells, everything works but engine wont turn over and Tranny needs work. I figured why not rebuild. Its not my car my insurance company wants to sell it to me for 7500. its loaded. Its got the Navi system and everything

I've heard great things about Vette Doctors in Amityville, NY (Long Island). They have a great reputation on LI. I don't know the phone number, but you can look it up.
