Amazing story, thanks for sharing it and the pics man. I too have these cats.

So just for my own knowledge running these cats the only symptom was a CEL?

Up till then they were fine then a CEL?

Any pre warning symptoms we can listen or watch for?

Amazing pics.

What was the problem with your Kinetix cats? Did they refund your money?
Thanks.

I did notice a slight drop in power but I thought I was
just dreaming it (maybe I was getting used to the power).
No CEL. I left it alone.

During my track event, it either broke up instantly or finished
breaking up and took out the o2 sensor so then I got a CEL.
The code was p0037 (i think that means the something like o2
sensor signal is too low).

I think another owner had a similar problem but he's O2 sensor
didn't break so I'd check this if someone is having power drop
and has rt cats.

Well, they had really bad fitment, they were raspy, and last but not least, they cracked, both of them. I was told that being raspy is not normal for these cats and he was stumped as to why mine were.

I didnt ask for a refund, I did however to ask to swap my cats with a plenum, and they are doing that for me free of charge.

The plenum I will be getting is a new version, perhaps they will call it the V3, not sure yet. It's " beefed up for FI application"

And yeah, I can't stand how quiet my car is with the stock cats back on, so I will be ordeing another set soooon. Other stuff will have to wait.
