Default Stroker Kit

With the search function being down, I don't know if this has been discussed b4, but I saw this kit from AEBS Racing at the LA SEMA show yesterday.

4.3L is massive! Any idea how much hp this motor could handle with FI?

in its form shown at SEAM we were told it was not really meant for FI, though I imagine proper pistons could be spec'd for such purpose.

approx. 40 billion hp to the wheels. hehe

Didn't someone mention how the stroker kit would lower the effective rpm range? Hmm.

Yeah stroker kits often trade revs for power. But damn 4.3L is huge! Probably puts out some nice power

If you zoom in on the spec sheet above, you will see that the package can be ordered with 8.5, 11, or 11.5:1 pistons. So, running it with FI might make sense on the 8.5 pistons. Not sure if the package was intended for it, but the t-sleeves and 8.5 pistons suggest that it would work well.

Any guesstimates on what kind of power our VQ as a 4.3 litre would be putting out?

I wonder how balanced the motor is throughout the entire rev range. I'm really interested in the kit, since I don't care for FI.

Curious, if the Z makes 8.2HP per 100cc of displacement, would it be within logical reason to say 800cc of added displacement could equal a gain of 65hp or theirabouts?

Let the drooling begin. Man I'd really like to see this conform with FI that would make the Z a monster as if it wasn't already.

one thing's for certain, it will be making a little over 350 hp, and with f/i most likely around the 400+ hp range w/ about 8 psi

Stock CR and that stroker, try 500+

8.5 CR and that stroker, expect mid-high 400s.

Just to the left of the 8.5 pistons it says "Turbo" guess that means its for boost.

Some one has got to do this!

It looks like the NA market is building up for this car.

I'd love to do this instead of FI. The 11.5:1 should yield about 393 HP with 4.3 liters. You'd still have to upgrade fuel, injecters and the ECU.

Wonder what kind of power you would make with this kit, fuel mods, ECU, I/H/E, cams, Plenum.

Hmmmm, Seems like NA might be able to hang with FI soon! Of course, at an extra cost. And of course not with the stroker + FI.
