It's been a few posts since my last reply, so let me see if I can answer some q's to my post...

Who did I talk to? I forgot the guy's name. It wasn't Ben (Ben Ma I'm assuming you were referring to). The guy who I spoke to looked like he was in his mid-20's. And it wasn't Chad Trower.

The $5k (approx) figure did not include installation, which is why I'm assuming some have posted in the $7.5K range with install. Aslo, being that we were talking to them on Friday, which is Trade-only day, they might have been quoting us wholesale instead of retail.

As for the race-fuel only, they didn't elaborate too much on it. By that time, I began to tune-out and had one of my mechanics laughing and joking about going forced induction afterall.

Last but not least, if I'm not mistaken, the kit includes: T-sleeves, connecting rods, Pistons (with chrome steel rings, wrist pins and clips) and crankshaft (made out of 9325 and a 90mm stroke)
Don't know if that helps clarify my previous post.

Regardless, at this time I'm going to have to wait for TODA Racing and hope they also develope a stroker kit for the Z.

Is it possible to buy just the sleeved block? I wonder how much just that component would cost? Anyone have an idea?

the kit is 7800 list price including install of the sleeves, but not the shortblock components.

The TODA kit, if they do one, would most likely reuse an existing Nissan crank, as all their other kits do - you would be better off just creating your own stroker at that point IMHO

The cost is $7800 for any of the three CR's offered, which includes the crank, pistons, rods, rings, and the cost of sleeving your block. It does not incluide installation of the short block components, though it can be done for an extra charge (though they are very busy at the moment since its race season)
we are not that far from Canada, and we are a dealer With the exchange rates, it might be worthwhile as well

all i have to say is.......WOW!!!

still need some hard #'s with hp and tq outputs. the price range is pretty close to the cost of a TT. it should be able to put out as much hp and tq as the TT to be worth it. no one is going to pay more money for less power just to stay N/A. of course that is unless you have money to burn, which i dont.

I'd presume the reliability is way better with this option. I also wonder what the hp/tq output would be. I'm either going to mod my car, or buy a bike. I have to decide :P I wish I could do both.

I'm thinking the same thing. A GSX-R1000 would be real nice, but this stroker kit would be more tempting of they had NA hp/tq numbers. If I had this stroker kit, I'd have to save up for a TT and drive around with a NA 4.3L V6 (doesn't sound too bad )

I would disagree - FI, especially on a car such as the Z (tight engine bay, no room to work), introduces a whol other level of complexity many people do not want to deal with.

People will buy the stroker kit for the shear fact that's it's NA and it's the ultimate sleeper. There is no way anyone can tell that you upgraded that without popping your hood. That and the fact that the combination of FI and this would be amazing. I can't wait to apply it to a car.

That's exactly what I'm thinking. No one could tell even with the hood popped open, they'd have to disassemble the engine! Just leave that little 3.5 symbol on the engine cover and let everyone wonder how you're so fast.

Hey Z1 Performance. How much it would cost just for the sleeved block, nothing else. No crank, no rods, pistons, etc. Just a sleeved block to be shipped out? Thanks.
