Default Would you port your throttle body?

A local shop that I have had do tons of stuff for me in the past on other cars wants to port and polish my throttle body, is this OK to do? How much larger can I go?

I have noticed a significant increases in other cars I have had (Mustangs, Vette, Viper) but I wasn't sure how it would do on this car. It would only cost me about $55 to have the P&P done.

yes i know it makes a diff on other cars but this one has a more advanced throttle system than those. the fly by wire system may interfere with the ability to take advantage of the addl size. it was said that to use one you have to have the reflash and it would only net 2-3 hp up top.
