well if you consider a 200$ labor charge, if all thats stopping you is lifting it, you could buy a one of those tranny jacks for less than 200$.

Yes, there are clearance issues... I'm not sure it could be done with the diff in the car. The rear cross-member is only 1/2 away from the back of the cover and no way to get it around with the gear inside.

Hmmm...stills sounds like something I could do. Diff on the car or not, it does not look that difficult. I would just prefer to do it on the car. I have to do some under car work today anyhow. Maybe I will study the situation and see what I can figure out. Thanks for the info guys (and the great price).

BJ @ 350evo.com. They have a 3.91 r&p for sale, but
it has been delayed for a while.

hjrmm... what is your email address ill look up your order history...

we have had a few cases where people call to find out where their order is and our web site doesnt even show they ever registerdon our site..

I also had someone call up insisting that he purchased something from us and we never shipped it, and it was something that we dont even sell, nor something we have access too...

I got mine a while ago......COOL!

Getting ready to install, but I have a few questions.

What is the BEST sealant to use? The shop manuel says "Apply genoine(?) thread or equivalent. Refer to GI section". In GI, they mention Permatex 51813, 51817, & Permatex Ultra Grey 82194.

Is Redline 75W90 better than Mobil 1 75W90?

Has anyone installed the cover themselves? Pointers?

just use a silicone to seal it... Nissan recomends the 1207C Silicone Gasket from Nissan...

As far as diff fluid... that will be fine if you have a regular VLSD in there.. if you have the NISMO we sugest using a MOC Limited Slip Concentrate...

hope this helps
