How much would it cost to have the whole pumpkin with NISMO LSD with this NISMO heat soak. I mean everything assembled together?

Thanks,
Az

Guess the cat's out of the bag. I'm 99% sure that comes stock on the Euro-spec Z, and I was working to get one several months ago...

This is a definite must for anybody who seriously tracks their car. I could smell my differential burning up last summer at Watkins Glen... :sizzle:

I thought this was just the euro-spec OEM diff cover. Is this now a Nismo product here in the states?

What is the approximate labor charge to install this? Too bad it can't be done without removing the entire pumpkin.

It would have been cool if they incorporated something like this http://www.taperformance.com/rearend.htm to strengthen the bearing caps/housing as well . Not that it needs it, but ...

I didn't hear you guys mentioned DIY difficulty. I am rather skilled at working on the car for a normal DIY guy. For example, I am doing Crawford headers next weekend. Could I do the install in my garage with stands? It does not seem that difficult at all. If I had to guess, I would say remove the bolts, pop the pan, replace with new, seal with RTV, and torque down. Give us some install hints. If I know the difficulty, I will buy one on Monday (no joke). I need one for summer tracking.

Why do you need to remove the whole diff? Is it because of access issues or something? Too bad, since that triples the price of the part.

Very cool though.
