Custom Grounding Kit

Custom Grounding Kit
Grounding Kits do seem to make a difference!
I made myself a custom grounding kit with all the ingredients that where posted in a thread I cannot find anymore hehhe. I must say that I truley do feel a difference.Tackometer seems to climb a little faster. Less (Not alot) hesitation when stomping the gas, out of gear. I usually only catch second gear as a little spin. After the kit I actually went a little sideways which I usually don't. Enough that I could feel it. Third gear gave more then just a quick "chirp" too.
I don't have any Dynos or anything, but I will attest that a grounding kit Dose make a difference, however small it is. It is noticable on a Z where everything else is stock.
I think I spent $15 at Home Depot to buy the wires and hardware to install it. Then about 2 hours cutting and splicing till it was done. And the most comfortable part about installing the kit was that there really is'nt anything to worry about. I mean the wires all ground to solid spot and the wire from the battery is on the negative terminal. Even if a wire came loose it wouldnt hurt anything, unless it fell into the belts. Which if the wires are cut to proper lenght they can't reach the belts.
Prolly the most comfortable and easy mod that can be done to the Z. I am proud of myself for doing my first mod on my Z myself :-). I cant wait to do the exhasut!

Congratulations on your first mod! Yeah, grounding kits seem to smooth out the idle, and result in better ignition...especially under power. I bought a 7 wire kit from (crap...i forgot his name), but he is on the boards and lots of people have bought his kit. The kit is actually sitting in my trunk since i havent had time to install it.
