How come the stock ngk plugs are more money then the denso iridium ones if the denso's are better? ngk plat $13.73 denso iridium $11.20.

NGK Double Platium: PLFR5A-11 $11.71

NGK Iridium IX: LFR5AIX-11 $7.60

Denso Iridium: IKH16 11.95

I think Platium cost more and it precious metal like gold.

NOW I THINK ABOUT IT, I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT NGK. ITS LOT CHEAPER. I WOULD HAVE SAVE SOME MONEY.

If I were you, get NGK IX iridium. Its cheaper. Had I known this few weeks ago, I would have ordered NGK iridium and saved some money. Also, 350Z OEM is NGK Platium.

Even with Platium Plugs, there are different price. The one you were quoting was Double or Laser Platium Spark Plugs.

Regular Platium plugs are around $3-$5.

The only difference is that Denso Iridium is 0.4mm tip and NGK Iridium is 0.6 tip. I don't think that will make much difference.

They are both made by Iridium.
