Smile Can strong accel damage clutch

Hi guys i just broke in my car and have never owned a sports car before, i have owned stick shifts but nothing like this before. Im just wondering how far can i push this thing. I have tried pushing it a little but i hear my clutch noise and tranny noise increase pretty bad, is this normal. I let the clutch out an about 1500 to 2000 rpm and floor it. Can she handle it and if so can you guys tell me what you guys do when accelerating? first post newbie lol

slipping the clutch when doing a racing start (3-4K launch), or power shifting full throttle between shifts will make your clutch wear a little faster, but this thing is pretty damn durable.

No worry, my car chirps 3rd like a champ, no problems yet. But I only have 13K miles

you want to limit how much you slip the clutch. hard launches are rough on it. but it can take it a good bit.

acceleration doesnt hurt it at all, clutch only takes where when its not full down or up.
