Default Rwhp?

I posted this on another forum, some of estimates were realistic and a few were very conservative.....

Wondering what my RWHP is with all the mods I've done....After friday 4/16/04 I will wonder no more ........ Headin' up to Balanced Performance ......anyone care to guess what It will be.....The closest guess wins .....NOTHING....

note...( look at sig for list of mods )

everything nismo holds you back, its all relative though. it "should" all be better than stock, just not as good as other aftermarket brands. from a power standpoint.

no the problem with them is where they are mounted. the results with them has not been as great as those with the jwt or the injen. it may even lose power on some cars, the best gains i have seen from the aem/nismo was 2-3 whp while the jwt and injen are usually around 5

Well, $3K-$4K for probably 20+ rwhp, good setup, hardly seems worth it though.

I feel its kinda low.....my friend who works for nissan thought so too taking into account all the mods....he feels the equipment was not accurate and found another place to bring it to get dynoed next week.....

Not downing the setup at all, those numbers are typical for the setup I believe. From the numbers of others, yours seem to be inline

When all the mods are summed up I guess it seems close to expected......the real test is the butt dyno....... ... and the butt is content with the results.....

so whats next ati procharger or greddy TT?

well with no baseline its real hard to tell. but Id say its most likely pretty accurate.

you probably will find another dyno that will give you a higher reading, but does this mean your really have any more HP? dynos are all relative, you can only truely compare one run to another run when all variables are the same, this includes the dyno location, and when you actually dyno.

some people say to run the car till the radiator fan kicks on, then when it kicks off, run it RIGHT then. but with no baseline, you have no idea. dynos should be looks at as 255hp, but instead as 15hp over stock which was 240.

Well, if you do a TT, you can forget those nice and expensive Crawford headers. From your mods, it appears the SC would be a good choice, you would just lose the Nismo intake. Course, those pullleys will probably have to go also.
