Just threw my set in and took it for a little "test drive" and seems like it's actually smoother..... no problems yet.

BJ @ 350EVO.com did a reply to a thread a few weeks ago. You might be able to find doing a search, but for normal day to day driving he suggest the NGK Double Platium PLFR5A-11. That would also cross reference to the Denso Iridium IKH16. Again, I would recommend doing a search. He warned about overheat water within the jackets.

IKH16 is the right one to use....IK22 is not the correct plug at all

IK22 are too short and may interfer w/ the waterjacket. I had a misfire on piston 4 and decided to let these sit until I get a Turbo. IKH16 are the correct plug as stated above. Be careful running the shorter IK22's w/o FI application. 350EVO already stated they blew 2 engines using the shorter plug...

I love the plug... have no problems with them and actually made the car run smoother... Am I crazy?? I love them in there and I'm shooting 100 shot time to time so these will definately need these.

might want to double check your box - you need to be using IKH16's in there

I am positive the box says IK 22 #4. Just came back home from another 150 mile highway run...... Juicing it jsut makes these plugs sweeter than they are, oh how sweet it is. I might just be lucky, or I might have problems later on with more mileage... but as of now they are performing fantastic and no complains.

not to mention the 22 is 3 steps colder than stock - not a plug I would ever want to run on my turbo car, let along forced induction - it is simply way too cold of a plug.

I have no doubt it feels smoother - 9 times out of 10 whenever you put a new plug in vs an older used plug (even somewhat used), this can happen. Would be interesting to throw a datalogger on it and see how your ecu likes them

Adam

Whomever sold those to you for your Z should take a refresher course
