Default Dyno result!

Well, after switched out the XERD headers and putting in Stillen shorties and Kinetix hi-flo cats, I re-dyno my car. A/F shows i'm running kinda rich.

What line is what? What was your best hp/tq before with the XERD's and what is it now with the Stillen/HF Cat set-up? Thanks....

Do you have any baseline info to compare to?

My base number was 227 WHP , 217 WTQ. With the XERD I got like 245 WHP, 231 WTQ. Those 3 lines are my 3 runs. As you can see, the HP graph is still going upward. If they ran until redline, I think I will get more. They stopped at 6550.

That's cool that you tested on a Dynapack dyno. I didn't know anything about them until I went and had my 2003 Track dyno'd (first car ever dyno'd). I think it's pretty cool how they hook your axles up directly to the dyno boxes for each wheel, it really seems much more accurate (especially for fine tuning) than a massive roller-style Dynojet that can be sensitive to wheel weight, pressure, etc. My local guy showed me how detailed the readings were by turning the A/C on and off and watching the real time HP readings, it seemed very sensitive.

Are these runs with the Dynapack software correction factors? I dynoed mine about a month ago and got 236.5 as a baseline (average of 3 runs and threw out a 244.5 hp 4th run as ECU optimizing during successive runs). With only my Topspeed Pro-1 exhaust I got an average baseline of 246 of 3 runs. With the silencers in place I only lost .8 hp on 2 different runs.

What gear should be used when dyno'd? 5th is the 1:1 gear right? I'm throwning mine on the dyno this weekend to get a baseline. Thanks

You not running too rich. You are fine...it's always a bit safer to be on the rich side towards redline. Aside from the one lean spike, you look good...progressively richer until about 12.0:1. Ideally, on N/A appplications its nice to see the A/F more in the 13:1 area..but this isnt too bad at all....especially with all your mods.
