Default Pro-1 torque damper installation

Well I received my Pro-1 torque damper. Thanks 350zforums. Great service but I'm a bit disaappointed in the product. No installation instructions, just a couple of brackets that I cannot for the life of me figure out where to mount.
I did see moog's pics on his G35 but can't find a similar mounting point near the strut tower. And where is the second bracket supposed to go?

Does anyone have a picture of the damper mounted on their 350? Any help would be appreciated. Thx.

Sorry so far i heard no one have successfully install your 5zigen Pro-1 Torque damper. Z1 auto have attemped on the installation but with not success. It just can't fit because of the Sturt bar. Ask Z1 auto and see what is the problem he had

The 5 Zigen fits just fine - so long as you don't have coilovers with dampening adjustment up top

This is the Pro1- not the 5zigen. I spent 2 1/2 hours and no luck. I consider myself fairly mechanical- did my own suspension, brakes, intake, exhaust. But this thing is killing me.

The problem is that there is this big A shaped bracket. The only place I've found to mount it is using one of the bolts from the power steering reservoir and one of the bolts that hold the hood security sensor- the problem is that once I put the bracket on there in no room to tighten the screw (the bracket is blocking access).

Not sure about the G35 and I can't exactly see how moog mounted his to the body- but from the picture I can't see the A bracket that was included with the kit.

It might have helped if instuctions were included but no luck. I may have to go to the local metal shop and have them make some custom brackets. Not what I wanted but the only solution I can see at this point. Either that or sell it on ebay.

Once again 350zforums provided nothing but great service (big thumbs up to them) but the product itself gets a BIG thumbs down.

Check this thread out. Some one else bought a Pro-1 Damper, and he explains how he installed it. Read through the whole thread, it even has a pic of his intalled Damper.

You don't use the A bracket. Just the little curved bracket. I mounted mine to the hood sensor bracket. You have to pull the wire harness out of the hood sensor bracket. I then drilled that hole out to about 3/4". Everything bolts up after that.
