I am thinking of getting a hks fuel cut defencer anyone have experience with one?

why? what have you done to your car that you are hitting fuel cut?

IMHO, fuel cut is a very good protective safety feature!

I believe I misunderstand its use, I thought you could use it to raise the rev limiter fuel cut, is that not what it does?

its more for use in boosted cars that have a stock fuel cut when boost exceeds a certain threshold, i dont think you would want to use it to raise your rev limit as it does not provide new a/f and timing maps for the higher rpms, if you would like a higher redline technosquare has a limited spec reflash for rpm, speed governor, and something else for like $300 about what you would pay for the fcd installed
