Default Just drove Jeff's car!!! Damn! is an understatement

I went down to Performance Nissan today to get my wheels powdercoated and to test out the tilton. I might have been a little jaded by the fact that jeff's car is retardedly fast from his extensive list of N/A mods, but I really want this flywheels package now. Though jeff's car was supposedly a little harder to drive than jason's, it was definitely more streetable than a full race car clutch and flywheel. I didn't really have that hard of a time driving his car, though it would take a little practice. I definitely want to drive jason's car before making my decision to see if I could stand driving it daily. Jeff's car by the way had a full locker rear end on so it made it a little sketchy to drive. This should hands down be the #1 bang for the buck mod out there.

Thanks again Jeff for letting me test her out. Hopefully when I come out to get the wheels, Jason's car will be ready.

Stephen

Jeff told me that the clutch he runs is the one they sell and the same one jason uses. Jeff just has more mods. It's one hell of a clutch. I get mine installed on the 1st.

a decently modded NA Z should take one. E46 M3s are fast, but not that fast.

Always have fun showing off in my car!! Glad you enjoyed it! For those of you who aren't familiar with my toy... we try and test every product before we sell them, so my car has gone through alot of changes over the 8 months I've owned her. She started life with me in Sept 03 and now has 4,000 miles and the engine has been out 3 times. The mods are extensive inside and out and I now have gone to the $30K zone on mods PLUS the $26K I paid for the car. As far as the drive train goes this is the latest set up it's running.
JWT intake, Ported/Polished intake runners, Ported/Polished heads, JWT cams (I miss my Nismos), Nismo headers, R/T Cats, Nismo exhaust, UD pulley's, Tilton 8lb flywheel/clutch, Nismo T-Stat, Nismo oil cooler, T/S ECU, Nismo locker and a diff heat sink.

Latest is Fall this year. It will be for N/A applications only and not be able to handle the H.P. of the F/I cars.

It will more than likely be fine for the limited amount of time you will be using the bottle of the line.

Was time to try something new... Would rather have the Nismo's back personally.

Is it because of better torque/HP distribution down low than the JWT?

Will the new tilton setup be the same weight or heavier to make it more streetable. I dont plan on going FI for a long time, so do you think I should wait for the new tilton or is it worth getting this more track friendly version?

Also, how long is the current tilton clutch supposed to last in a bolt-on only car?
