So do you thnk there would be any gains in swapping one of these with a 6mt G35 coupe? The HP difference is only 7 and alot of people seem to think that comes from the Intake.

Techtom has already done that, and offers a system which gives you the ability to modify the fuel and timing maps in the ECU software before uploading (reflashing). The Techtom system will also do the uploading, so you don't need a $5000 Consult II in order to do it. Of course, the Techtom also costs $5,000, so you don't actually save any money.

I have noticed after driving for a week that the car runs cooler than before with this mod. My temp gauge reads about 1.5 notches cooler on the stock gauge (maybe 15 degrees). I wondered if this was a by-product of 2 degrees advanced timing or if the 350Z ecu runs the motor slightly cooler for a little more power. Maybe a hidden Nissan secret for a little more power??
