How can I remove the top speed limiter from my 03 touring?? Who does it and how much can expect it to cost??
Has anyone here tried it??

a company called technosquare does ecu tuning and tweaking here in the states. im not sure if there are any differences in the ecu, i doubt there are. They bump the rev limiter up to 7100 and remove the speed limiter and can adjust ecu to upgrades you have done. it costs about $500 or $595 i cant remember.

The Technosquare L-Spec reflash will do what you want and costs $350 as I recall.

the Z is sposed to be limited at 155... not that Im questioning you cause your not the first one to hit speeds above 155. I think the speedos, maybe even the digital as well are off; unless the limit is based on RPM and gearing and not actual speed.

I think that’s your only option.

But be careful man, I don't know the roads very well in Bahrain, but that is too fast for any road.

If you want to go over 159mph, you might want to change your tires to Z rated or whatever else that can handle it if your's already don't. Also, did you go to the Bahrain GP? It was an awesome race, the white sand made it look even cooler!

At 160mph indicated, my speedo was off ~8mph.
