I would like to get a fuel management sys. but cant decide what to get...... i dont want to have to go back to TS to get a tune everytime I change something so what system out their is good??? all i know of right now is the Greddy and the apexi SFC-II
The Greddy eManage works with N/A and F/I cars. In my opinion, it is far superior to an AFC, as long as you buy the optional injector harness. With it, you can add injector pulse width, vs. doing MAF conditioning ala AFC. Excessive MAF adjustments can cause limp mods, and more troublsome....unwanted ignition timing advances (pinging).
You would need the eManage, injector harness, and the Greddy Support tool software for laptop tuning.
The drawbacks are you dont get a cool AFC display, or the abilty to make changes on the fly without pulling out your laptop. These are concessions I would readily make, for the increased accuracy and tunability of the emanage.
Also, if you dont buy the injector harness, you could also just use the eManage for MAF conditioning as well. That is your choice.

if you do get emanage be careful with the timing harness as it has been known to fry coil packs. with that being said the emanage is superior to the afc but is also harder to use. it can control timing and do more than just adjust maf signals. the afc is cheaper and easy to use. so decide what your goals are then pick one.

I can help bring that total down. You can find the emange online for $260, the harnesses you'll need run $75. Install it yourself, they are just plug and play harnesses. Ask the tuner if they have the software, they should have it, if they don't, I wouldn't even let them touch the car. That gives you a new total of $790. You can probably find a muffler shop that can weld in some o2 bungs for alot cheaper too, more like $20, but i'm not sure.
