Exclamation N/A Cars Getting Tuned, is it pointless?

I'm just wondering if any N/A Z owners who are modifed are getting their cars tuned? I have these current engine modifications:

Intake
Exhaust
Test Pipes
Intake Manifold
Crank Pully
Headers

and I'm wondering if it'd be overkill getting the A/F tuned, change out the spark plugs, and timing..ect.

If anyone has done it, can you post exactly what you got done, and how you felt with the results, if any. Thanks!

given those mods, I most certainly would get it tuned. How you go about doing it (E Manage, reflash, etc.) is up to you, but its a good thing to have everything working together as a unit.

I had my car flashed about 7 months ago when I had intake, exhaust, pulley, cats, Y pipe. We were able to not only stabilize the AFR throughout the rev range, but I picked up 12 hp and 11 lb feet. Car did not feel remarkably different afterwards, just ran better overall - most better throttle response, and better pull through the rev range. So far my plugs are OEM ones (car is an 04, flashed at around 10k, now at 18k)

I just went to the dyno on sat. and running very lean 14.1 A/F with the following parts:
Nismo exhaust
Nismo CAI
Helix test pipes

I'm going to get my ECU reflashed to prevent detonation on my car.

I highly recommend getting it done on your car nismo33, as opposed to a one size fits all mailorder deal

Default Can a piggyback unit be used to alter fuel flow.....

just enough to richen up the mix with the slightly increased airflow possible with NA mods. For instance, is there any kind of unit available to, for example, lengthen injector pulse by 10-15%, or to just slightly alter the stock fuel maps?

Default please explain why you shouldn't change the crank pulley?

Don't just make a statement like this without some kind of facts/experience/follow-up. What good is it to anybody otherwise?

adanande, you should post some facts or links about this argument if you post that kind of line. I know where you're coming from because I've seen the background, but someone new to the discussion might not be able to give your argument the consideration it needs.

Yes, e-manage or apexi safc units can do that. The emanage is FAR more versitale, but requires a laptop.
