Default Greddy Tt Kit ???

What does everyone think about the Greddy kit without the intercooler. Honestly I'm going to purchase the kit but I don't have money to spend on the intercooler. I just need some feed back on the kit before I pay the $4600 for it; like power band changes, maintanace, the ease of installation and tuning because I'm going to bolt it on myself, plus any other comments on the kit.

See this is how things go bad...

1. You don't have enought money to purchase extra performance parts that will help your performance and reliability.

2. Not only do you not have money for safty things like gauges, timers, controllers, and intercoolers; but you also lak the money for installation and have to do it yourself (IN MY DIFFENSE I do have mechanics skills and I will also have two other certified mechanics with me.)

3. Worst of all I'm VERY VERY IMPATIENT. I'm sure some of you can relate, I can't find it in me to wait anylonger then I have too.
So none of you guys have to tell me how stupid I am...I already know.

Any information you might have would be great.

think of it this way. if you buy the kit without i/c or with can you afford to buy a new engine if it breaks? i had a friend who bought an rsx type s then got a nitrous kit, well he blew his engine and was denied warranty work on it so he was without a car for 6 months until he could afford to fix the car that he was still paying for but couldnt use. it wouldnt hurt to just wait a little longer and save some more plus the price of the tt kit will come down

Get an IC. Its pretty much necessary for turbo. W/o an IC, best boost you can get is 4.6psi, and it is unsafe I think. Agreeing with PowerTrip here...

Looking for cheap Greddy Kit? I was recently investigating this, here are a few links:

350PartZ.com is the cheapest -- $5630 shipped -- WITH I/C!

Cheers.

Oh, and for tuning the e-Manage, Greddy Profec E-01 comes in handy.

I would highly recommend the IC as well - if its a matter of money, either get the kit and wait on the install till you can afford the IC and the ancillaries (fuel pump, BOV, gauges), or buy them as your budget allows, and wait to install till you have everything

If you can't step up to the plate with about $10k for the project... I would forget about it.

I feel your pain...I too would love an affordable FI option. From what I have heard and read, Stillen FI products are *generally* the simplest to install/tune/maintain. The Greddy kit definitely offers more overall performance...and I won't argue that the sound of turbos beats supercharger whine any day..

now if you want fi on a budget you could get a very nice vortech kit with i/c installed and tuned with all the extras for about 7k putting down 370 ish whp and 330 ish torque. very respectable and enough power to have some fun with. or if you install yourself you might get it down to about 5500-6000 range.

I was thinkin about getting the greddy kit too. i saw the price on 350zpartz.com and it is the lowest ive seen so far. The problem is, they only accept paypal. Does anyone know a place that has this kit for about the same price and accepts other forms of payment besides paypal? i.e. visa, mastercard, check card, etc? reason is because i am having problems with paypal at the moment.
Thanks!
