Current mods done thus far with 10,000 miles.

Borla dual
POP Charger
UR Pully's
DC SPorts Headers
Grouding Kit

I was surprised it was this high. Your imput is appreciated. I guess they had some problem with the wheels slippin due to the automatic. Runs were done in 3rd gear.

its bc it was done in 3rd 1:1 is 4th on an a/t. this may be why they read a little higher. also what type of dyno was it and do you have a tq curve?

I'm waiting for them to email me the torque curve. It was a DTS system.

umm did you notice how your hp is still climbing at 6600? thats unusual for a car without a plenum, usually it begins to drop rapidly after 6200. notice how your peak hp is at 6600 rpms, very unusual perhaps someone else could chime in and explain why.

I actually had my 5at Z dynod recently too and I put down some unusually high numbers. I can't read maseroms dyno well but it looks like he put down a tad over 260 to the wheels. My dyno was also in 3rd and I put down almost 270 to the wheels strangely. I just have an exhaust/intake and test pipes.

Third gear dynoing is going to give you the higher numbers - you should be using 4th gear b/c, as stated above, it is the closest gearing to 1:1... I would like to see a chart comparing runs in 3rd vs runs in 4th and see how much variance there really is....

3rd vs 4th gear does not affect things all that much - maybe 4-5 hp on the tests I have done so far on my own car

The place I dynoed @ they didn't want to dyno in 4th gear because our 4th gear goes to 140mph. They said it wasn't good for the dyno brake or something.

Ive dynoed in both 3rd and 4th and every time the 4th gear run was 2 or 3 whp less .Dyno operators rather you do it in 3rd...takes less time and less stress on your car and on there dyno...I would amagin

yep 262, 265 adn 266 it looks like - good figures from the mods, especially on 91 (I assume?)

it would be nice to know the year of the car and see the AFR (if it was done), just so we can see about drawing some corelations

wow, maybe you just have a strong one from the factory? I'm going to be dynoing my 5AT G coupe next weekend after I install my Kinetix plenum and GReddy EVO II exhaust (I'm begging for numbers as good as yours) I was going to get a baseline dyno, but I really don't care to have to redyno for each mod... money I'd rather be saving for other causes (I just want to see the end result for now - I'm done until it's time for F/I) - I bought a G Tech Pro Comp - so I will be doing some 1/4 mi before and after times so I will have something for comparison sakes...

did anyone else notice this. do you realize that something on his car kept him pulling up to redline? this is not the norm on our cars. look at any dyno of a z without a plenum it dips from 6200 up fast. even with a plenum it starts to dip around 6900? then drops fast. if this is accurate then he could easily have bigger number by upping his redline.

perhaps things were a bit "off", automatics have quirks with the torque converter, maybe the high hp is related to a screwy torque reading? dynos read torque directly right, and then solve for hp.

that is a wee bit high, automatics ussually dyno 220-230, so your talking 50hp or so between factory freak and a few boltons that are ussually good for 20hp.

Any graphs of your stock dyno? I just want to compare them to this new dyno. I'll post my graph up shortly.

Default dyno

Sorry..but Im starting to think this is NOT a dyno chart from a Z or a G . The stock ECU adjusts timing at 5,400 rpm's...and you see a dip in power on every chart I have seen .Then again at 6,400 rpm's you see a big drop off in power . I think Nissan does this at 6,400 rpm's to stop engine damage if you hit the fuel cut off .So I call BS on this chart
