I think its just automatic playing tricks on you. torque converter doing its job, all the way though the rpm(though it shouldnt) thus increasing torque; and to the dyno, increasing HP.

Sweet, I knew someone would complain that this dyno is higher than theirs. I agree with Ares, the guys at the shop warned me that the TQ may screw with the numbers slightly.

Well if your refering to me....wasnt...didnt complain...That fact of the matter is.... that your dyno looks nothing like any other basic stock Z or G AT5 or 6MT .Granted the pulley should give you a few hp .But there is no getting around the timing in the ECU...unless you have a flash or piggy back ECU .If you look at your base dyno...you will see the dips in hp at the same spots as every G or Z .So I can come to only 3 reasons why it looks the way it does....[1] It isnt a G or Z dyno [2] you have a piggyback or a reflash and arent owning up to it [3] the dyno is screwed up and giving very false readings

there is only one way to find out! take it to the drag strip! with 265whp, the car should easily be in the 13's... maybe mid 13's...

I don't think it's bs, like ares said, it may be the torque converter playing trick on the dyno

yea, there is no way to raise the rev limiter and from the dyno's i've seen the car tends to run rich at higher rpms with a stock ecu. it's kinda hard to tell exactly where the redline is with the way the rpms read across the bottom, but it is making power all the way to the redline (which is something i've never seen). however, the stock ecu can do different things at different times and as we all know tends to adjust to your driving habits, etc., but still this is kinda funky with a stock ecu. i dyno'd a baseline of 225hp and 250hp with all my mods so i pretty envious of your numbers.

hehe yeah I was surprised my graph didnt have any dips either..making power all the way to redline. Also I was running extremely lean so I dunno what that does to the timing and all. Maybe the ecu is pulling a lil timing or something on mines. Anyways I'll post the chart up as soon as I figure out how to get it onto the comp.

The stock ECU adjusts timing at 5,400 rpm's...and you see a dip in power on every chart I have seen .Then again at 6,400 rpm's you see a big drop off in power . I think Nissan does this at 6,400 rpm's to stop engine damage if you hit the fuel cut off .So I call BS on this chart

I believe that the DC headers could be scavenging the cylinders really well. This would keep the power from dropping off at high RPMs, similar to the plenum. Good cylinder scavenging created by tuned exhaust system can suck new air-fuel mixture into the chamber. The front angle of the stock plenum may complement the headers by increasing velocity.

Of course I don't know what I'm talking about. Just theory.
