from what I've read, and felt on one of the forum member's car, yes, it does get rid of the notchiness.. there is only one click when shifting, instead of two..

Default Rogue Engineering ...

I had the B&M and I now have the Rogue installed.

And the winner and now preferred shifter … is … ROGUE !!

The B&M shifter offers a very short throw (good and notchy). However, my problems were twofold:

1. The B&M had a slight buzz while high revving in 2nd gear.

2. The faster the revving – the more difficult it was to upshift and downshift with the B&M … very difficult to engage. If the B&M shifted as well at high revving as it does during low RPM’s … I would vote this as the shifter of choice.

Shifting with the Rogue is a pure delight … very easy and very fluid upshifting and downshifting. As posted by others, the Rogue shifter engages each gear with a precise click and you know and feel that it’s in. The Rogue is not notchy. It has very smooth, clean throws with a “click”. There is absolutely no noise, no buzzing, or no rattles … quiet as a church mouse.

Summary: The Rogue is excellent and works extremely well in my Z.

n1cK! ...

You were right on ... "SMOOTH" ... she said, after entering each gear.

Love the Rogue !

as far as i know, you could only get it here. it's kind of pricey, much more than the B&M, but well worth the price, IMHO.

Default rogue

Note the "only" time I've have ever noticed increased vibration with the Rouge vs. OEM was at rapid deceleration in 5th gear at higher RPMs. For example, when removeing foot from accelrator at >120mph in 5th. Most may not have replicated this scenario, nor have the same exact set of variables. Vibration is subjective from car to car , etc.. etc. my case Adding a little air gap between the guide plate and "nub" resolved this audible vibration.

I was looking at the 350evo.com website and noticed that they are coming out with a new s.s.... has anybody heard anything about this one????

FairladyZ in Japan, thank you for your review. The negatives I doubted about B&M have been realized. I appreciate it!

With the exception of the new upcoming s.s. from 350evo, I'm sold.

Default SS

If 350EVO is working on a new SS, I'm sure it will be sweet and work like a champ. All there other in-house stuff seems to work great.

I believe its the same reduction over OEM. Going to short will induce the notchyness.....you start loosing leverage.
