My bolt-on hero!

I have seen this done several times.

What was your 60ft?

What tires were you on?

Great Job!!!!

Thanks everyone.....

as far as tires i was on M&H slicks that are for a front wheel drive car.. i borrowed them from a buddy's SRT-4.
my 60'ft on that run was a 1.76.. The run before that i cut a 1.75
all day i was running low 13.1's and that 13.09.

as far as what you said chops... Rounding trap speeds as far as people that i know and hang out with as long as it's like 109.6 or higher it's ok to say you trapped 110.

But asfar as ET goes... If the first # after the decimal is a 0 then you ran a 0... It doesn't matter if i ran 13.0999999999 i still ran a 13.0... least that's how me and friends go by anyways.

What size rims are the slicks on? I am looking to get a good setup for some DRs and need some rim suggestions. I plan on putting some Nitto or BF drag radials on. I am sick of ruining my expensive 19" Toyos and I know the smaller rims + DRs will make a huge difference.

don't waste your money on drag radials.. They just break stuff..
Just get slicks.

All DR's do is wheel hop and break stuff..

The slicks are i believe 23x8.5x15
i'm pretty sure those are the size of the 1's i ran this weekend.

My other friend has 24x8.5x15's and they seem to work just as good maybe alittle better on my car.

with the 23x8.5x15 i was having to shift to 5th gear right before the finish line.

It took me awhile to realize that it was 13.0 not 14.0 Great run!

What was your launch RPM? Did you gut your interior? 1 gallon gas tank? Other than 4 bolt ons, have you done some tuning? Temperature, elevation?

I would have been skeptical 'bout it but the video says it all.

what did you launch at on those slicks compared to what you launch at on street tires?

so what is the diamater (height) of those tires?

smaller tires & more grip = hauls donkey and will accelerate a heck of alot faster...

stock diamater & more grip = better grip and moves...

I have a feeling if you put those wheels and tires on a stock car the time would have been about the same...

but nice time!

Only problem is I can't drive to the strip with the slicks on the car, but I can with the DRs. Also, I have the 5AT and have never experienced even the slightest bit of wheel hop. What kind of 15" wheels are they that fit?

Wouldn't the M&H be considered a 5th bolt-on? It's not OEM obviously.

Great time none the less.
