JWT and Rouge
When you get them both in I'd really like to hear your subjective
view of the "cement mixer sounds" as heard from inside the G35 cab. I am considering the JWT setup , just don't want the sound to be "too" loud.
Thanx

the sound is embarassing, you will get used to pushing in the clutch pedel when hot chicks are next to you at stop lights. when driving its acceptable, but still extremely noticable. when it does it at idle, its obnoxious. you can clearly here it from far away, matter of fact if i walk out of the car and leave it idle, as i get closer to the car the first thing i can hear again is that noise.
with that said, its worth it anyway, a little noise never hurt anyone, and you will get used to hiding it within a couple days.

phunk hit it on the head....
its not a good sound at idle rpm (only, IMO)
i am rasing the idle tomorrow, as it only seems to make the rattle (not cememnt truck IM) at rpms of 500-700.... if i lay on the accel. pedal to raise the revs to 800, the sound is MUCH more acceptable.......
im in the air, for now, if i will keep it, or just use the race clutch instead.....
performance-wise, ths is amazing... the car REALLY responds well to this mod, and the revvs are easier to get to 5lbs of boost now (benchamrk boost # for when i really feel like im haulin')
if i sell the flywheel, i will ask for the cost to uninstall it only....
for now, it stays, and ima drive it a little....
(am now told the tilton sounds very similar, so, if its rattles, why not have 8lb derivitive rattles??)

after reading posts about the flywheel sounding like a "cement mixer" I was expecting much worse..
I can barely hear the noise on mine, need to listen for it...
If it gets quiter with miles, as others noted, then I don't know if I will be able to hear it at all.
Which will be better yet
So far, with the very little driving I have done with the JWT clutch and flywheel, I am happy with it.
No more pedal effort over stock
clutch grabs in the middle of the pedal, instead of at the top like stock, which I could not stand.
And it feels very smooth....
did any of your combos come with the Nissan throwout bearing, alignment tool, pilot bushing ?
Mine didn't. I just used the my stock throwout bearing and bushing, as I have less then 3K on the car, so there is no signs of wear. But just though it should be included.

You guys are using the Gtech to measure the 0-60 times? Where did you pick it up and for how much? Also, does the stock shifter handle fit on the rogue short shifter kit?
And finally, excellent work...
