Default Japanese

I was browsing the Japanese Nissan website, and the Z is quoted having 276HP.... now, I obviously could be missing something here... since I can't read Japanese... but... if you take 276hp, and take a 15% loss, which is the typical loss of a manual drive train, you get 234HP, which is right around where a lot of stock people have dynoed.

I know Japan used to have a 280 limit, maybe they (probably) still do... which would explain the reason for having 276... but... it just made me wonder the way if you take the 276 and do a 15% loss, it comes VERY close to what people here have been dynoing at...

Any comments?

Also... something interesting... on the Japanese Nissan website, they offer a grounding kit as an optional accessory to buy on their "optional parts" page... Is nissan admitting that a grounding kit helps?? see the kit here...

Also, there are lots of pretty cool audio and navi options... When I say options... i dont mean something your Z would come with, I believe these are all aftermarket options... but I thought it cool they are on Nissan's website... some of them look pretty awesome! It seems Japan and even Europe Always get the new high tech toys before we do... I have a friend with TI who says they do work on some phones that are not even close to as cool of phones that we have....

go here, and click on the different products on the left hand side...
