Default Any NEGATIVES for JWT or Nismo cams?

Any info appreciated. Idle quality? Emissions? Low-end performance?

Default None so far.......

I have enjoyed my NISMO cams very much.... Bump the idle to 850, ensure you have no vacuum leaks... The car is way to much fun to drive now.... Idle is fine... lope is mild.... nice.....
Glad I chose NISMO over JWT cams... wide powerband is great..
JWT flywheel is more of a nusiance with stalling issues... Still getting use to the flywheel and clutch...

Enjoy....

I know of one perosn who had nismo and went to JWT and regreted it. I have heard nothing but good things about Nismo cams. Did you install new gaskets as well?

Got a question. Would upgrading to high lift valve springs benefit me any. As well as getting Nismo Cams.

You woldnt be taking advantage of your new springs. Youd be better of going with the S tune nismo cams that actually have some pretty darn high lifts

S tune or S1. I am assuming you mean S1 Cams. To my knowledge no one in the street community has put a set in. The race guys have probably done this. I really want those but not sure how the ECU will like them.

can350z, where did you get your plugs?

All, I'll be selling a set of Nismo cams in a few weeks if anyone is interested. Brand new. PM if interested.

Cams are on my to do list, but I'd like someone to guinea pig the S1's.

I heard you really need to raise the idle high on the S1s.

If I'm thinking of getting FI, would it still make sense to get the Nismo cams (would they work well together?)

A negative would be the time/cost of install.

Someone correct me if I am wrong. With regular Nismo R-tune cams you need to raise the idle 850rpms. Correct? And if so I wonder what you would have to raise the idle for S1's. I have been waiting on cams because I am curious about the S1 cam. Hoping someone would get them.
