I'm working on the pricing right now. Worse case scenario, I'll have the cash account for "My350Zforums" open by Monday. I'm at home right now, but I am having the store get me the sales numbers, retail price, and cost at this very moment.

Be patient

By the way, most paint companies tend to keep these solvents in the warehouse. Toluene gets jacked off the floor by people wanting to huff or by people with meth labs *LOL*.

Here's what we got . . .

Product Sales # List Price Your Price
Toluene 154-8668 $10.20 $6.00
Xylene 154-8684 $ 9.50 $6.00

Once I get the account # setup, I'll update you.

Do these prices sound fair?

Fellas, I'm in Cleveland on business, but will return this friday. Once I do, I will forward the necessary info you need to purchase at the discounted rate. We recently had a company wide price increase due to oil prices & the steel industry, but I'm sure it won't affect the pricing significantly (few cents). Holla on friday!

For those of you looking for Sherwin-Williams paint store discounts (regular stores, not automotive--different computer system), we now have a "cash account" that will provide 30% off all in store items to my350z.com members, street sports employees, and automotiveforum.com members. In addition, pricing for the solvents (sales number specific) is $7.60 per gallon (gallons & fives) and this takes into account that the oil & steel costs continue to rise. If you want to take advantage of this pricing, you must bring the account # to your local S-W paint store.

Here's the pertinent details:

Account# 9281-5230-5
Account Name: Street Sports
Xylene (Sales #154-8684 (gallon) & 154-2398 (five) )
Toluene (Sales #154-8668 (gallon & 154-2372 (five) )

If the local store happens to stock a different sales # than listed, the account will not recognize the specific pricing for the solvents. In most cases (99% of the time), you will be able to obtain the product at the same / similar price (depending on the manager).

On a similar note, anyone wanting to paint their house can take advantage of this pricing structure (30% off). For specific recommendations on your residential painting project, feel free to PM me.

I am not familar with the various laws of your state, so please follow your local code. I will not assume any liability for the misuse of any items purchased; I am merely providing a discount channel to our niche community. Follow the instructions / precautions of the manufacturer and if required, I can email data pages / MSDS (material safety data sheets).

Happy Boosting.

My cost increase was fairly dramatic too . . . that $13 is the list price, which as you can see, jumped about three dollars.
