You can re-use the stockers but I ususally get new ones. Just in case you know. It would suck to have to take the cats back off later if they blow out.

You can get new stock ones from a dealer. Or maybe Crawford or another header or test pipe maker may have some better ones.

Those Stock gaskets should not blow out and the new ones will be the exact same. I wouldn't worry about them blowing out. I have never heard of that happening. I reused my stock gaskets and have had no issue.

Default stock gaskets

I've had mine in and out twice, and no leaking. They are pretty robust multilayer metal and should be re-useable a few times.

Another San Diegan here...when and where is the dyno day? I'd like to dyno mine with the mods I've put on.

Regarding the gaskets, it's true, you probably can reuse them. Just to be safe, though, I bought new ones from Performance Nissan prior to installation of the new exhaust system. The manifold gaskets and the manifold to cat gaskets were on back order...took about 2 weeks to get them! None of the local dealerships had them, either.

Don't worry about the gaskets. They are metal and hard to screw up.
I just did cats and headers and re used the old w/out problems.

I 'm thinking about installing my Kinetix cats this weekend. Do you need 2 people to install it? If not, how do keep the bolt from turning as you tighten it?

thanks

You need (at least I needed) 2 people just to tighten 2 bolts. That's it, about 5 minutes. I tried everything to do it myself, but found it too hard to do.
