Default Do you have this steering issue?

When you are driving your 350z on flat, smooth road, does the steering wheel point straight or does it go to the left a little?

Mine drifts to the right. I would take my car to the dealer to fix, but I don't want to compromise my tsb alignment. I'd rather have a little drift than to have tire feathering again.

i had the same problem. Took it to the dealer. They replaced the tires and aligned it. No more drift.

BOZ23- U should take it in too. It cant hurt and it will be for free, since drift is a known issue. I dont see why you would get tire feathering again. Sometimes drift is indicative of feathering.

good luck!

I had the same problem except mine drifted to the right. They replaced my front tires, realigned all the wheels and replaced the right front compression rod. No drift or tire feathering yet and it's been about 5k miles. If you have an 03 there is a TSB for the right drift and there is a recall on the feathering. I would suggest getting both done as soon as possible.

Are you talking about the car drifting or the steering wheel not pointing straight ahead. My steering wheel is a little to the left when the wheels are pointed straight.

My car does not drift. Just the steering as you said.

The steering wheel was not straight when the toe was set the last time it was aligned. Happens all the time.

If you get the car aligned tell them to straighten out the wheel
