Default 350evo final drive?

Has anyone installed the 350evo 3.9 final drive yet? If so, what are your thoughts, what has it done to your acceleration, fuel economy, etc..

I love it!!
I have been the only one with it.
Its release has been pushed back until after we get back from Mid Ohio GAC race which is next weekend. With getting the two cars race prepped and ready....it takes away time from the online stuff a little. This is going to our home track and we want everything ready to go. The 350Z should have a great shot at doing well up there.but the fiels is 60 cars deep which means anything can and will happen.
Cheers

OK, you tell me then.. What does it do to fuel economy? I know it will go down, just how far down is the question. I have the Auto final drive which is like 3.2 or something like that.

Also what decrease in 1/4 mile time should I expect? What about if I went with the standard 6mt final drive which is like 3.5?
Thanks

you would increase your 1/4 mile not decrease it...just off the top of my head i would guess a gain of atleast 3 tenths....but i dont think the gears will work with your auto ....i believe you would have to swap to a 6spd rear dif if you wanted the gears

fuel economy i would gues of about 2 mpg...but as i dont have the difs yet i couldnt be sure

Yeah, what Im looking to do is install the NISMO differential, but I would also need the 6mt Ring and Pinion, so I was wondering if I should just go with the 350evo 3.9 ring final drive or switch to the standard 6mt final drive which is like 3.5?

Somebody Help Me!

the 1/4 mile would most definately decrease, as would 0-60 times, not increase....trap speed might go down a tad though.

As for fuel economy, I can let you know when mine go in

it's not going to make any significant differences in terms of daily driveability...

I would guess that at about 65mph I would be running about 450 rpm higher. Does that sound about rite?

Yeah, don't forget that I have the Auto and its like a 3.2 FD instead of your 3.5.

I think I am going to keep my eyes out for anyone who bought the 350evo and see if I can get theirs. If not I will have to buck up and get the 3.9.

Wow, thanks for the great advice. Just out of curiosity, why would they want to do that?
