Thanks Glen
Thanks Glen
Do you feel the engine misfire or just have a P300 code on your engine light... I am 99% sure you just have the code with no misfire. These computers are very sensitive to mods and thats most likely what it is from. Do a search on here to reset your light and see if you get it again....

No the engine is running fine autozone shut off the light and its not back on. But they said its saying its misfiring and it was the P300 code and i saw it. So i have nothing to worry about? Also is it still safe to get a technosquare reflash now.
Thank you Glen

Im heavily modified now i think this is why it went on. I have a apexi cold air intake, unorthrodox racing pulley, HKS grounding kit, crawford plenum, crawford cats, crawford headers, and Injen ses exhaust. Next mod to get is my ecu reflashed from technosquare so i can get the max performance.

I get it all the time and I have no cams......
every time the fuel cut off is hit, well not every time but every other time, it will throw a multi cylinder misfire...

I had the NISMO Headers and the CEL has never come on. Did you hit the engine cut-off leading up to the P300???
If you did maybe that's it and you'll be fine. Maybe that's just wishful thinking. Have you recently dyno'ed? Checked your A/F Ratio??

Never had this code either. Hit rev limiter twice. Interestingly enough I did get it frequently on my Spec V after I installed the header. Sometimes my car would run rough and throw the code.
Ok I don't want to Scare you, but here is my Experience with this. I had a clicking noise when my Z was at idle, and I was getting a misfire code (p0306 # 2 misfire) to make a long story shorter, after months of trying different things I found that there was Oil on my #2 spark plug. So I replaced it hoping that would fix the misfire. At the same time Nissan did a compression test and found that my # 2 was at 90 where the others where at 120 (which is where they are supposed to be) so I was down about 30% on my #2.(and still put down 250 on the dyno a week before)
Nissan thought it might be fuel wash out, so I drove the car for a few more weeks to see of it got better or worse. It got worse and the CEL came back on (same Code).I took it back to the dealership. Nissan did another compression test. It was Down about 40% this time. So Nissan thought I had a bad ring, so at this point they did a top down tear down on my engine and ordered new rings and new pistons.
Now here comes the scary part, When they pulled the engine to put in the new parts they found out that the # 2 rod was bent as well. This started a warranty issue, but that has been resolved now. My was in the shop for over 6 weeks.
If you have any questions PM me
