I agree with the focus on suspension and tires for autoX. The HP won't buy you much. I have watched other cars with much less HO do much better than me at autoX. I spent a ton (over 15K) of money on HP bolt ons (see list below) and in the end It was not worth it.

My 2 cents

Shaun

Yeah, but if you did a road course you would be blowing all the slower cars away, don't you think?

I think that weight loss would compensate for the hp gains.
Loose weight and upgrade suspension.

loose weight , just not on atkins i could go on and tell you how many bad things a purely protien diet does to you. The full Process is called Ketosis. Its where the brain does not get enough energy from carbohydrates, which carry the brains main source of energy(glucose), and resort to lysing(breaking apart) the irreplaisable human muscle cells, which cannot be replaced, to harvest Adenosine triphosphate(ATP) a major energy carrier in the body, that is located in large amounts of muscel cells that need lots of energy on tap, in order to delay brain cell loss and offer nourishment to the braind. Its a big mess, that leaves you less muscle cells, the only advocates of fat store access.

But shop up your call all you want, i'm not the guy who's gonna need ear plugs beacuse all his sound deadening is in his garage, but better yet sliding through those cones wil be oh so much fun hehe. Get the final drive after you get coilovers and swaybars. and also every racer needs a tilton, that will increase acceleration and you will be able to use the engine braking in auto cross, just remember that drive train pieces also have a 500 nile break in period, no hanky panky hahaha.

It's already like the car is driving itself. If I lost weight I'd be a skeleton.

I meant loose weight like in light weight seats, cf hood, light weight wheels, loose the subs and amps.

Although I yet to buy one , I would definitely consider JWT flywheel somewhere in the equation.
