Default Dynoed my mods

Ok i dynoed today and i got 255 hp and 230 torque for my mods listed. My air fuel was not that great it started out at 14.8 leaner and slowly went down to the low 13s at the end of the run. Through out the dyno the air fuel ratio stayed in the low 14s mostly till 6500 at the end of the run. Im thinking when i get my technosquare reflash this will give me more power can someone give me some advice.

Thanks Glen

Lose the intake.

CAIs are hurting more than they are doing good. Then redyno.

What was your baseline?

Do you really think the intake can be causing some problems? I have the pipe ducted in front of the radiator.

Thanks Glen

i dynoed @ 240.3 today i was getting my ecu reflashed i am currently working with Altered Atmosphere in working out some Fuel Maps for stock cars...but in the next day or so we should have some good outputs....my car right now is prepared for FI (fuel maps) (procharged) i only have the kinetix and popcharger...i plan on obtaining more by this winter, from headers to cams, and possible a whole new intake plenum (upper and lower)....but still good gains...what was the air temperature outside may i ask....also your A/F ratio is pretty low...mine today was a constant 17.5

I didnt get the reflash yet, because when i install my cams im sending out my ecu to get tuned from my af report for my mods now. Also check your idle my car with my mods idles at 700 so i am having technosqaure raise it to 900 for the cams. Im hoping for some good power once my af ratio is perfect with the cams. It may take a while, but when im done ill be happy im sure.

Also my rev limiter kicks in about 6700.

Thanks Glen

Glen,
Yeah your gunna need to raise the rev limiter and idle time...the idle timing needs to be higher for those cams because they tend to choke the car off...they real nice cams btw...good choice....keep in touch i would like to know how your A/F ratio does once you get the technosquare reflash...good luck and keap me updated...also have you thought about the valve body job and and the torque converter??

If your AF was 17.5 , your car is about to be another blown engined Z......there is not any place throughout the power band where you should be anywhere near that #. Get it tuned or it's going bye bye....gauranteed.

i realize that, but the torque is lower than it should b considerin the hp, imo.

That is a decent torque peak, but if he got his HP peak at let's say 6400 RPM, then he was producing 209 lb-ft of torque at that RPM. It's hard to get the whole picture unless we see the graphs.

I think that those are fabulous numbers without a reflash. What were your A/F numbers in the mid and going toward redline?
