Default help with clutch and flywheel which is best????

wanna pick up a clutch and flywheel, was thinkin about going with U/R flywheel and act clutch, i have headers ,cats, exhaust intake, pulleys , ground wires, plenum. which would be a good application? dont want to much excessive pedal pressure, and smooth engagement like my stock clutch. help please!!!!!

Well they just came out with a street version of the Tilton Flywheel and clutch, it will make you car hella faster, its just a little harder to drive but much easier than the race versions, you just have to hold the clutch in longer and its hard to keep the revs high, they drop fast.Oh and by the way, don't get a new crank pulley, leave the factory one in, its dangerous.

Best set up for you sounds like it is going to be the NISMO Pressure plate and Disc and JWT Flywheel.

Best performance without sacrificing any drivability... but does not come close to the performance of the tilton...

tilton i have heard about that....... my car is a daily driver. but what makes the tilton clutch so fast??? i have been lookin into the jwt flywheel heard its good, but dont know about the nismo clutch, nismo = to much money + not that much performance, and why is the crank pulley dangerous im releiving the stress off my crank shaft no?

I have the tilton. It revs SUPER fast. It revs so fast because the clutch is only 7.25" dia. compared to a stock Z clutch at 12". and the entire clutch and flywheel only weighs 16 pounds total. I beleive it's the lightest combo available. Only thing is that it dies as fast as it revs. It's a whole new learning experiance to drive. I'm sure Jason will give you better info on the tilton.

so is there any problems with changing to a clutch like that? and what do you mean it dies as fast as it revs? is this a good clutch for an everyday driver with mild mods exhaust, cats, headers, pulleys? how is the pedal pressure, i dont want something excessive and also how much does this clutch cost? is it rebuildable?
